The Kindle allows you to check email, post to your blog, get stock quotes, check the weather, read news headlines–all kinds of little tasks that you’d rather not drag out the laptop and boot it up to accomplish.
For example, it is very easy to forward a copy of all your business mail to a GMail account and then read it on your Kindle. Once you have accessed the mobile GMail site once and logged in, you can check the “Remember me” box to make subsequent logins even easier. If you bookmark the page by clicking the menu and selecting “bookmark this page,” checking your mail is even easier.
