How to manage automatic updates to Kindle books? Amazon’s policy is to notify you by email if there is a major update to any book you bought from them. Minor changes can be made via the Manage my Content and Devices page. On that page, click on Settings and scroll down to view Automatic Updates, read the advisory text there, and enable or disable automatic updates. Simple!
