The keyboard is there mainly to annotate as you suggest, and to create text as needed to use the web browser. Good luck!

I want to find a tablet, preferably Kindle for all the reasons Kindle is a superior reading tool, with a keyboard on which students could create two pages of text, or even a page would be great. I’m pretty terrible with electronics, so I can’t quite figure out if the new keyboard kindle can do that or if the keyboard is just for writing short annotations within books.
